Eva-Marie Mancuso

Eva Marie Mancuso, admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts was granted the distinction of admission by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Specialist. This distinction is granted after having litigated many civil jury trials, on recommendations by the judiciary and fellow attorneys and after a written examination. Ms. Mancuso is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and Suffolk University Law School. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mancuso served as an Assistant District Attorney for Bristol County Massachusetts and Assistant Attorney General for the State of Rhode Island. Ms. Mancuso is a past Governor for the American Association for Justice formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and is past president of the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association. She volunteers for many community and charity organizations. She serves as Managing Partner of the Rhode Island offices.

John L. Collins

John L. Collins is a founding partner of the firm who was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 1981.Mr. Collins is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Collins concentrates in handling cases involving serious automobile accidents, product liability, premises liability and wrongful death claims. He also litigates Workers' Compensation cases. He is the managing partner of the Massachusetts offices.

Sean P. Feeney

Sean P. Feeney was first admitted to practice law in 1984. Mr. Feeney is currently licensed to practice in all State and Federal courts of Rhode Island and is also licensed in Wisconsin and Illinois. Mr. Feeney is a partner in the firm, having first joined the firm in 1991. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Feeney was a special counsel to the City of Providence, served on active duty as a trial counsel/military prosecutor with the United States Marine Corps, and held an appointment as Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California.

Mario Pimental

Mario A. Pimentel is a partner of the firm. Attorney Pimentel is fluent in Portuguese and serves the community on many civic issues. He began his career as a claims adjuster and joined the firm in 1986. Licensed to practice in all State and Federal courts in Massachusetts, Attorney Pimentel concentrates in Workers' Compensation and personal injury cases.

Bridget E. Chisholm

Bridget E. Feeney is a partner of the firm, licensed to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She handles all civil litigation matters, mostly involving claims for personal injuries. Ms. Feeney is a graduate of the New England School of Law.

Jacqueline Risch

Jacqueline Risch is a litigation associate with the firm and has been representing individuals in serious personal injury and death claims for over 20 years. She has extensive experience handling cases involving automobile accidents, product liability, premises liability, construction injuries, animal attacks, and lead paint poisoning. Ms. Risch is responsible for all pre-trial matters including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, expert witness preparation, trial memoranda, jury selection, jury instruction, mediation and arbitration.

Susan Pegden is a Litigation Associate with the firm. She is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court, District of Rhode Island.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as Communicaitons Director for Lt. Governor Charles J. Fogarty, Speechwriter for Gov. Bruce G. Sundlun and Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg and was a communications consultant on gubernatorial, congressional and local election campaigns in Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Jeremy R. Waxler was first admitted to practice law in 2001. Mr. Waxler is currently licensed to practice in all State and Federal courts of Massachusetts and is also licensed in Rhode Island. Mr. Waxler first joined Hamel, Waxler, Allen & Collins in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Waxler was an Assistant District Attorney in Bristol County, where he practiced in the New Bedford, Fall River, Taunton and Attleboro Courts.

He is now a litigation attorney concentrating in the trial of motor vehicle, premises liability, and products liability cases. Mr. Waxler has tried many jury cases in both the District and Superior Courts, as well as participated in numerous arbitrations and mediations.
